With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expected to arrive soon, Arsene Wenger may already be trying to figure out just how he’s going to incorporate his best players in the best formation.

Gooners have already welcomed Henrik Mkhitrayan and are now preparing of his former Borussia Dortmund teammate.

New furniture in the shape of Jonny Evans is also expected to arrive before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.

No deal is currently in place to sign the Aubameyang, but the Gunners are working with the Bundesliga outfit to ensure the transfer happens before Wednesday’s deadline.

It all means Arsenal fans are likely to see a new look frontline in the coming weeks.

It will prove difficult to incorporate Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan in the same side. Meanwhile Alex Iwobi who has improved in recent outings will still fancy his chances of getting.

For now, Arsenal still have Olivier Giroud lying in wait and the Frenchman will be desperate to force his way into the side with the World Cup on the horizon.

Wenger also has a tough decision to make when it comes to picking formation. Arsenal have leaked goals this season as a back three and a back four, but to have the best chance of winning many will feel the boss must utilise both Lacazette and Aubameyang.

Does that mean fielding both as strikers? Or to push one out to the wing? That tactic did not go so well with Lukas Podolski, meanwhile Alexis Sanchez really thrived when operated down the middle.

Gooners, what formation and what line up would you deploy? Let us know in the comments…
