Arsenal return to Premier League action this Sunday against Stoke City at the Emirates.
A top four finish is almost certainly out of reach, but the Gunners will want to keep up their recent winning run ahed of their Europa League quarter-final clash with CSKA Moscow.
Stoke have already picked up a win against Arsene Wenger’s side this season. A goal from Jesé was enough to seal a 1-0 win back in August.
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has warned Arsenal that Stoke City will be doing everything possible to get points on the board at the Emirates today.
After helping the Blues to the Premier League title last year in an injury-hit campaign, the Frenchman is now battling at the other end of the division after joining the Potters on loan back in July.
“We know it’s going to be tough but it doesn’t matter about the opponent, we need to grab points any way we can,” the Frenchman told Stoke’s official website.
“At the moment we are in the thick of it, we need to win games and stick together, so we need to keep believing – we have no choice. There are still 21 points to play for, so let’s stay positive and make things right.
“Arsenal are full of quality, we know what they’re about, and we need to make it difficult for them by making them run, keeping the ball as best as we can and of course score goals and try to keep a clean sheet.
“We can’t be scared, we know the crowd will be behind them, but we have players who are experienced playing in big stadiums and know what it takes to win such a game.
“Since the manager has arrived, he’s brought that sense of mentality and that is still strong within us but talking about it gets us nothing, we need to show that fight and spirit on the pitch.”
