According to reports, Jack Wilshere is in advanced talks with West Ham.
Wilshere is available on a free transfer after he officially left Arsenal at the end of his contract on Saturday.
The Englishman was informed by new boss Unai Emery that playing time would come at a premium this season.
Now, the midfielder is reportedly a target of the Hammers – the club he supported as a boy.
Wilshere has been targeted by new boss Manuel Pellegrini, who took over from David Moyes as manager in May. The Englishman, capped 34 times by his country, is also understood to have an offer from Fenerbahce.
West Ham finished a mediocre 13th place in 2017/18.
The East Londoners, who conceded 68 times last term, have already signed the centre-back Issa Diop, goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and defender Ryan Fredericks this summer.
Gooners, is West Ham Wilshere’s level? Or should he be aiming higher? Let us know in the comments…
