Arsenal boss Unai Emery could make Paris Saint-Germain’s sought-after teenager Yacine Adli, a player described as “indispensable” by PSG reserve coach François Rodrigues, his first signing.
The Gunners boss is keen to make his mark at the Emirates and is understood to have turned to former club PSG to bring in a fresh face.
Adli made just the single Ligue 1 appearance for PSG last season, but has been handed a new contract offer by the club.
However, as reported by Sport Witness claims that the player ‘should’ join Arsenal after the Gunners offered Adli further incentives like increased chances of playing time.
Emery is also understood to be closing in on deals for defenders Stephan Lichsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Adli mainly plays as a central midfielder, although he is capable of featuring as a no.10, too. On occasions for France Under-17s, he has featured as further forward, usually on the right wing.
