West Brom take on Arsenal at Hawthorns for the side’s final match of 2017.

The game comes to quick for Olivier Giroud who continues to nurse a hamstring problem.Meanwhile, Nacho Monreal and Aaron Ramsey will also miss the trip to the Hawthorns.

Danny Welbeck could start, while Calum Chambers is also in contention.

As for the hosts, West Brom record signing Nacer Chadli is expected to be out until March with a recurrence of a hip injury.

Lead striker Salomon Rondon is a doubt with a hamstring injury sustained on Boxing Day.

The Gunners were humbled in a 3-1 defeat to Albion back in March. The game saw two planes that hovered over the Midlands demanding separately that he go and that fans treat him with respect.

The odds of seeing similar events are highly unlikely, but questions will continue to be asked should Arsenal lose to Alan Pardew’s side.
