According to reports, Arsenal are demanding £30m from Manchester City if they want to sign Alexis Sanchez in January.
Sanchez, who is out of contract with the club at the end of the season came close to securing a deadline day move to Man City this summer.
The teams had a agreed a £60m fee, but a potential deal was scuppered after Arsenal failed to secure their prospective replacement Thomas Lemar.
It is suggested Sanchez and the club’s contract negotiations are at an impasse, following the Gunners refusal to meet his wage demands.
Sanchez could of course leave for free next summer, but it appears Arsenal are seeking a return on the £31.7m they paid Barcelona for him in 2014.
If the forward does leave midway through the campaign, it could destabilise Arsenal’s efforts to finish in the top four and win a trophy this season.
Gooners, would you be ok with selling Sanchez in January? Let us know in the comments…
