Bayer Munich fear losing out on Alexis Sanchez as they cannot meet the striker’s contract demands.
According to The Mirror, Bayern are concerned that Sanchez appears to be pricing himself out of a move to the Allianz Arena, demanding £420,000-a-week to make a move to the Bundesliga.
Sanchez has been speculated to prefer a move to Premier League rivals Chelsea or Manchester City, though Arsenal are more willing to sell Sanchez to his other suitors in Europe.
The Chilean has just 12 months to run on his current deal and is aware that Arsenal are prepared to allow his contract to run down.
Arsene Wenger recently stated that the forward would not be sold to a Premier League rival this summer. However, the Frenchman who just signed a new two-year deal made similar comments about Robin Van Persie and Samir Nasri, who were later sold to Manchester United and Manchester City.
