Arsene Wenger is under extreme pressure by sections of the Arsenal fanbase to leave his post.
The Gunners boss has seen his slide slip 14 points adrift of the Champions League places following a 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.
And according to reports, Wenger is top of Farhad Moshiri’s list for the rebuilding job at Goodison Park.
The Everton chairman appointed Sam Allardyce in November following the sacking of Ronald Koeman. Allardyce made a positive start, but the Toffees are now in poor form having slumped to their sixth successive away defeat at Burnley on Saturday.
Arsenal fans brought out the ‘Wenger Out’ banners at the Amex Stadium – it marked four defeats on the trot for the first time 16 years. Meanwhile sections of Arsenal’s travelling fans chanted for the manager’s exit.
Wenger signed a two-year extension last year, but speculation of the Frenchman leaving his post early continues to mount.
