Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura has played down suggestions he is set to leave the club.
The PSG forward has been linked with a move to The Emirates as a possible replacement for the soon to be departing Alexis Sanchez or Meust Ozil.
However, the Brazilian says he only has plans to work his way back into the PSG first-team.
The 25-year-old who netted 19 times in 52 appearances for the Parisian’s last season is yet to be handed a start this term under Unai Emery following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window.
However, Moura told UOL Esporte that he’s determined to become a regular again.
‘Now I eat by following rules. I don’t eat pizzas and barbecue food anymore, despite how much I miss them. ‘But I am concentrating on improving my physical performance. Whatever the situation with the national team, that is Tite’s decision.
‘I need to concentrate on improving at PSG. The season began in a difficult way for me, but my aim is to win back my starting place and the great moments that I had last year.’
It comes as a blow to Arsenal, who are looking for replacement for their wantaway stars. Julian Draxler is another who has been tipped for a New Year move.
