Arsenal have hit a stumbling block with Oxlade-Chamberlain’s during discussions over a new contract, Sky Sports claim.
The England man has entered the final 12 months of his current deal and could leave on a free next summer, though Arsenal are desperate to tie him down.
The Ox has travelled with the rest of the squad to Sydney as Arsenal prepare for the opening match in their pre-season tour of Australia.
But the suggestions are he is no closer to signing a new deal for Arsene Wenger’s side. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are have all expressed an interest in the versatile midfielder, but Arsenal would be reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival.
After a poor run of injuries, the Englishman came of age last season and excelled as a right-wing-back.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is one of several Arsenal stars who have now entered their final year. Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere are all out of contract next summer.
