Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac is closing on his move to Arsenal having passed his medical, the Daily Mail reports.
The left-back whose current deal expires at the end of the season is suggested to be a target of AC Milan and Everton is set to sign a four-year deal with the Gunners.
Kolasinac is the first recruitment ahead of Arsenal’s proposed summer spending spree.
The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international has this season earned himself a reputation for being an assists machine.
The defender has set up his teammates nine times this season, while contributing with three goals.
As well as plenty of incomings, Arsenal are expected to have a summer clear out. Current left-backs Nacho Monreal Kieran Gibbs have been the subject of criticism from Arsenal fans this term.
Whilst Gibbs has been offered a new deal by the club, the Englishman could still be moved on. Nacho Monreal is expected to stay and provide back up to Kolasinac.
