Arsenal are keen on signing Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez this summer, according to the Telegraph.

The forward who was strongly linked with the Gunners at the end of last season expects Leicester to honour their agreement allowing him to leave at the end of the season.

Ex Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri requested that Mahrez give him one more year to which the 26 year-old agreed to.

However, the Algerian has failed to reach the heights of his remarkable campaign last season which earned him the 2016 PFA Player of the Year.

The title winner has contributed just six goals and four assists in the Premier League this term and could be available for a fee of around £30m.

Arsene Wenger’s side will have to shrug off interest from Barcelona, Marseille and North London rivals Tottenham who are all keen on securing the winger’s services.
