According to reports in Spain, Arsenal are weighing up a bid for Barcelona midfielder Rafinha.
The 24 year-old progressed through the ranks of the Spanish giants before making his debut in 2011. However the Brazilian has since struggled to establish himself as a fully-fledged first team member.
There have been rumours of a summer overhaul at The Emirates, with a number of first-team players tipped to depart. Spanish outlet Don Balon (via Football London) report the Gunners are ready to start the transition by taking Rafinha off Barca’s hands.
Despite irregular game time, Rafinha has impressed when played this season. The 24 year-old has six goals and two assists to his name in 16 La Liga appearances.
The suggestions are Arsenal will have to cough up at least £20m to secure a deal. Though with Real Madrid, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund said to be interested, Arsene Wenger’s side may not be the midfielders first choice.
