Arsenal are through to the last 16 of the Europa League despite losing 2-1 to Ostersunds at the Emirates.

The Gunners won the first leg 3-0 but one of football’s great shocks looked possible at half-time after the visitors struck two goals in 70 seconds.

The Swedes, managed by Englishman Graham Potter took a shock 2-0 lead. Their first coming from a Calum Chmabers own goal and they doubled their lead shortly after when Ken Sema’s fired in past David Ospina.

Thankfully Arsenal didn’t ship in more before half-time and Arsene Wenger was able to regroup his shaky side.

Sead Kolasinac found the net just four minutes after the restart to effectively put the tie out of reach.

Arsenal were complacent going forward and defensively and the qualification has done little to put them in good spirits ahead of Sunday’s crucial League Cup clash with Man City.

Gooners, what did you make of the performance? Let us know in the comments…
