Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest to begin their defence of the FA Cup.

The third round draw has seen Arsene Wenger’s side journey to the City Ground for the second consecutive season having thrashed Forest 4-0 in the League Cup 3rd round last term.

The Gunners have lifted the FA Cup in three of the last four seasons to become the competitions most successful club.

Meanwhile, Wenger has established himself as the competitions most successful manager and will be aiming to lift the trophy for a staggering 8th time.

Arsenal have no suspension concerns ahead of the match – though Jack Wilshere can count himself lucky not to have been sent off during the Gunners’ 2-2 draw at home to Chelsea.

Granit Xhaka is out with a groin problem picked up in the draw over Chelsea. While Olivier Giroud (hamstring), Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Nacho Monreal (knee) are all sidelined.

Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac are also expected to miss out.

Walcott will be aiming to impress on Sunday.

Both Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott will be pushing for starts having failed to cement their place in Arsenal’s Premier League side.

Meanwhile youngsters Joe Willock, Eddie Nketiah and Reis Nelson will all have ambitions of getting the nod.

The Gunners also have a Carabao Cup semi-final clash with London rivals Chelsea to come after taking on Forest. Wenger’s men are once again aiming to save their campaign with a domestic cup triumph after being blown away in the title fight.

Forest are having a mediocre season in the Championship. The club sit 14th and are currently without a manager after sacking after sacking Mark Warburton last week.

Arsenal’s second string should win this comfortably to begin the club’s search for a fourth FA Cup in five years.

Prediction: 1-3
