According to reports, Manchester City are set to offer Arsenal a whopping £50m to part with Alex Sanchez in January.
The Gunners star came close to joining the Citizens on transfer deadline day this summer. Despite a £60m fee being agreed, the move collapsed after the Gunners failed to sign a suitable replacement.
Sanchez had been set to see out the remaining months of his contract with Arsenal reluctant to sell the forward or fellow contract rebel teammate Mesut Ozil in the New Year.
However, Manchester could tempt the Gunners to cash in on the Chilean with a mega £50m offer in the New Year.
The Gunners star, who is beginning to pick up form for Wenger’s side would be eligible to compete in the Champions League should he quit the north Londoner’s next month.
Thoughts, Gooners? Should Arsenal cash in or is Sanchez indispensable? Let us know in the comments…
