Arsenal are about to lose out on Fulham midfielder Ryan Sessegnon, the Express reports.
The starlet has turned Premier League heads this season with his impressive performances in the Championship.
Despite interest from the Gunners, Chelsea and Tottenham, the suggestions are that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have pipped their league rivals to securing the starlet.
Sessegnon has been a hit in the second tier under boss Slaviša Jokanović. The left-back’s featured 19 times for Fulham, scoring four and providing two assists.
Two of those strikes came last weekend as Fulham stunned Championship leaders Newcastle 3-1 at St James’ Park.
The signing would have come as no surprise to Arsenal fans, who have seen Arsene Wenger buy and develop young players throughout his stint at the club.
However, it now appears the left-back is in line to replace Alberto Moreno at Liverpool, rather than Nacho Monreal next season.
