Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac has been named Player of the Month for October.
The Bosnian claimed half of the votes cast, pipping last month’s winner, Nacho Monreal to first place, and while Aaron Ramsey came third.
Kolasinac who arrived on a free from Schalke this summer has quickly established himself as a fan favourite at the Emirates.
It marks the second time in three months that the 24 year-old has picked up the award.
Kolasinac’s most impressive performance came during Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Swansea on October 28. The Bosnian scored the equaliser and provided an assist for Ramsey’s winner.
The player nicknamed “the beast” has been dubbed one of the signings of the summer. Arsenal will need the rampaging left-back to beat at his best when they go head-to-head with arch rivals Tottenham this weekend.
The pressure is on Arsene Wenger’s side who are currently four points behind their North London rivals.
