According to reports, Juventus have resumed their interest in signing Shkodran Mustafi.
The defender was linked with a move to both Juve and Inter Milan this past summer, but a deal failed to materialise.
Now, Calcio Mercato are reporting that Juve are ready to pay big money for Mustafi as they look to add depth to their defensive line.
Whether Arsenal will be willing to part with Mustafi in January is unlikely. Despite, the Gunners’ poor defensive Premier League record, Mustafi has formed a solid trio alongside Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal at the back.
If Arsenal do allow the former Valencia star to leave, it appears they have already lined up West Brom’s Jonny Evans as his replacement.
The Daily Star say that the Gunners, Manchester City and Everton are all chasing the ex-Man Utd centre-back.
Evans, who has lifted the Premier League three times has become one of the leading defenders in the Premier League since his 2015 switch to the Hawthorns.
