Juventus are still interested in signing Wojciech Szczesny this summer.

The Arsenal ‘keeper who spent two seasons on-loan at Roma is expected to leave The Emirates this summer as Arsene Wenger cannot guarantee him of regular match time.

The Gunners rejected a bid of £4m from Juventus for the 26 year-old. The offer is considerably below Arsenal’s £20m evaluation of Szczesny who kept 14 clean sheets in Serie A last season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady will only table a £7million offer for the Poland international.

The Arsenal academy graduate is seen as a long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon. Juve want Szczesny to be an understudy for Buffon next season, but the Juventus legend is expected to hang up his gloves at the end of the 2018.

Gooners, we want to hear from you! Should we be allowing Szczes to leave or do you think the ‘keeper has matured and is ready to return? Let us know in the comments…
