Sky Sports transfer expert Jim White believes Moussa Dembele would be the perfect signing for Arsenal this summer.

The Celtic striker has been remarkable for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season and is suggested to be a summer target for a number of Premier League giants.

His manager Rodgers admitted last month that it would be difficult to keep the 20 year-old if a mega offer was made.

In an exclusive interview with Arsenal Fan TV, White said Dembele would be ‘sensational’ for the Gunners despite the lack of Premier League experience.

“I would say yes (he is good enough),” said the Sky Sports anchor.

“This guy knows where the goal is. A lot of people will say ‘well Jim White you’re talking about Scottish football’, sure.

Dembele has netted 17 times for Celtic in the SPL

“But I reckon yes, given the challenge of Premier League football if you say to Moussa Dembele can you go from there, where you are now, to here, he would love the opportunity.

“He would embrace it and say ‘yes I can’. I think he would be sensational and Arsenal would be the perfect home for him.

Dembele has been a big hit in Scotland. He’s netted 32 times in all competitions for Celtic, who are still unbeaten in the Scottish Premier League.

Arsenal are likely to face competitions from Chelsea. The striker was the subject of a transfer bid from Chelsea in January though his club refused to sell mid-season.
