According to reports, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere wants to remain and fight for his place at The Emirates.
The Englishman, who has now entered the final year of his contract with Arsenal has been plagued by injury since his emergence in 2008.
Wilshere suffered a broken leg in April whilst on-loan to Bournemouth and Arsenal are said to be willing to listen to offers for the 25 year-old.
Serie A side Sampdoria launched a bid of £6.8m for Wilshere last month and West Ham have been suggested suitors.
Yet it appears the England international intends to salvage his career with Arsenal as he continues to recover from his injury.
Even when Wilshere returns to full-fitness, his opportunities are now limited. The Gunners currently have five other midfielders battling for two centre-midfield spots and are rumoured to be targeting Nice star Jean-Michael Seri.
