Henrikh Mhkitaryan could still take part in Arsenal’s trip to Atletico Madrid after returning to training on the eve of the side’s clash.
The midfielder was absent for the first-leg clash, but could start in Thursday’s crucial return leg.
He has been a key figure this season in the knockout rounds of the Europa League and could replace Danny Welbeck in the XI.
The Metro report David Ospina, who had been struggling with a rib problem, was also present at London Colney on Wednesday.
It’s unclear whether Wenger will opt to start the Colombian over Petr Cech at the Wanda Metropolitana.
More good news for Arsenal as Alex Iwobi has also been passed fit to travel to Madrid.
Asked about Arsenal’s injury concerns following Sunday’s defeat to United, Wenger responded: ‘Mkhitatryan had a little knock on his knee. ‘Ospina has a rib problem and [Alex] Iwobi has a hamstring problem.’
