Arsenal have been dealt a blow after Hannover 96 striker Noah Bazee reportedly rejected the Premier League club to sign a new deal with the German outfit.

Arsene Wenger’s side were rumoured to have offered a contract to the Nigerian who did consider a move to The Emirates.

However, according to Own Goal NigeriaBazee instead signed a new deal with the Bundesliga II side to keep him at the club until 2021.

Bayern Munich and Schalke were suggested to be chasing the winger who has provided seven assists and one goal in his 15 matches this season.

Unfortunately, the forward has been ruled out for much of the season following surgery on a reoccurring hip problem and most recently a knee injury.

Hannover currently top the German second division and on track to return to the first tier at the first attempt.

Arsenal will have to look elsewhere, but suggestions of a summer shake-up continue to mount.
