Galatasary have made contact with Arsenal over a possible deal for Danny Welbeck, according to reports.

The Gunners star has endured a stop-start career so far with Arsenal after suffering two major knee injuries.

However, Welbeck has returned from his most recent lay off and is making strides in reaching the kind of form Arsenal fans are desperate to see.

TheDaily Mail report the Turkish giants have sounded out the forward over whether he’d be interested in a move abroad and are said to be willing to pay the Gunners a fee in the region of £16million.

However, it’s unlikely a deal will materialise with the 26 year-old hesitant on a move to a country where the political environment continues to be volatile.

Welbeck moved to The Emirates in the summer of 2014 and as aforementioned, injuries have prevented him from making a serious impact at The Emirates.

The England striker has scored 10 times in 49 Premier League appearances so far.
