According to reports, Chelsea are set to lodge at £25m bid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The England international has been at the centre of transfer speculation all summer, but it appeared talks of him leaving Arsenal this window were put to bed.

However, the Daily Star claim Antonio Conte has not given up hope of signing the 23 year-old just yet.

The Italian watched The Ox produce a superb display against Chelsea as the Gunners claimed their third Community Shield in four seasons.

The versatile midfielder has impressed Arsene Wenger at both left and right-wing back – a position Conte believes he can become a superstar for the Blues.

Arsenal paid Southampton an initial £12 million in 2011 for the England star who is out of contract with the FA Cup winners next summer.

Gooners, we want to hear from you! Is £25m enough? And would you be content with The Ox leaving? Let us know in the comments…

Selling the Ox should not be an option, yes he has been inconsistent in recent years but there is a lot more driftwood that can be sold in his place. Walcott, Debuchy, Wilshere.
