Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has finally got his own back on Troy Deeney following Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Watford at the Emirates.
Deeney criticised the Arsenal side and Bellerin after the corresponding fixture in October. The Watford skipper, who claimed Arsenal lacked the “cojones” to beat the Hornet who won 2-1 at Vicarage Road.
Deeney also poked fun at Bellerin after the game, suggesting the wing-back “couldn’t see what he’s doing [because] he had his long hair in the way”.
However, Arsenal fans will feel they have finally got their own back on Deeney who saw his penalty saved by Petr Cech with the score at 2-0.
Bellerin hit back at the Watford man following the game posting on Twitter BT Sport’s interview with the Watford captain along with the caption: “Looks like you couldn’t see today either @T_Deeney”.
