Liverpool will step up their interest in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer, reports say.

The Welshman has less than 18 months to run on his current deal and could follow former teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Anfield.

The Daily Star have reported that Chelsea and Manchester United are also looking to sign the Wales international, who could leave the Emirates next summer.

Ramsey has impressed for Arsenal this season and scored his first hat-trick for the club as Arsenal dismantled Everton 5-1 last weekend.

The Welshman has often been compared with Jack Wilshere at the heart of the Gunners midfield and the suggestions are Ramsey is unhappy about his treatment by fans compared to his injury prone teammate.

Ramsey is currently Arsenal’s longest serving player and is – somewhat surprisingly – the club’s current top goalscorer.

Gooners, should Ramsey leave? Let us know in the comments…
