According to reports, Arsenal would be willing to allow Alexis Sanchez to join Manchester City this summer.
If true, it is a massive u-turn from Arsenal after Arsene Wenger stated that the 28 year-old would not be allowed to leave the club.
Sanchez has just one year to run on his current deal and some believe it would be wise for Arsenal to cut their losses and recoup at least the £35m they paid Barcelona for the forward.
The Gunners star netted 30 times in all competitions last year is preparing with his national side to face Germany in the Confederations Cup final.
Speaking about his future during a press conference, Sanchez refused to confirm whether he where he will be playing his football next season.
Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup,’ he said.
‘When this is finished I will see if I stay or go. I don’t know.’
Asked if his decision is clear in his mind, Sanchez replied: ‘Yes, it’s clear. But I can’t tell you.’
