Lorenzo Insigne is getting ‘tired of waiting’ for a new Napoli deal, his agent claims.
The Italian winger who has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs was expected to sign a new contract with the Italian side in February.
However while talks for an extension continue to stumble, Arsenal and Juventus are keen to pounce on the forward’s frustrations.
Insigne has two years left on his current deal and would not come cheaply, but his agent Ciro Venerato has confirmed other sides are interested.
“Insigne is tired of waiting,” Venerato told Rai (via talkSPORT)
“He has four clubs that have offered €4.5m (£3.9m) and a sponsorship deal from a multinational company that would pay €2.5m (£2.1m).
“He’s willing to take less to just to stay with Napoli but wants €4m (£3.4m) per season. Napoli offered €3.5m (£3m) and no more, inclusive of commission to agents who will take about 5%.
The 25 year-old has registered some stellar performances in Serie A this season. The Italy international has scored 12 times and provided seven assists for Napoli this term.
The winger now wants a new contract befitting of his performances, but with a new deal seemingly no closer, Arsenal could still snap him up.
