Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny says it’s ‘good to walk again’ as he continues to recover from a torn achilles injury suffered in May.
The skipper was stretchered off during Arsenal’s Europa League semi-final tie with Atletico Madrid. Koscielny went down in agony in an off the ball incident inside the opening ten minutes.
The France international, who was forced to miss this summer’s world cup, probably feared he would also sit out for the most of the 2018/19 season.
However, Koscielny is making good progress and the 32 year-old could return before the year’s out.
With almost two months having past since the defender underwent successful surgery, Koscielny has provided an update on how his recovery is going and things are looking promising.
In a video on his Instagram account, the Gunners captain said: “What happiness to be able to walk again! It’s good to walk again.”
