Reports in Germany suggest Arsenal are preparing a summer move for RB Liepzig star Naby Keita.

The centre-midfielder has impressed for second placed Liepzig since arriving from RB Salzburg last summer.

The German outfit are desperate to keep their star and have slapped a £26m price-tag on the 22 year-old.

However, German newspaper Sport Bild claim the Gunners are keen to land the Guinea international.

The playmaker boasts an impressive four goal and eight assists from his 22 Bundesliga games this season.

Keita has helped his side push leaders Bayern Munich. The promoted club backed by mega-rich owners sit second in the Bundesliga and are well on their way to securing a Champions League spot.

Runaway leaders Bayern however are also admirers of Keita. Arsene Wenger has already lost to Carlo Ancelotti twice this season. And if he remains at Arsenal this summer, it’s likely the Italian will get the better of him once more.

    WENGER never learns
You can predict an Arsenal season before it’s even begun.
When it comes to tactics, Wenger is often found out.
It’s taken him years to finally realise you need to give up some possession for being tighter in bigger games, but there’s still no real variation.
    Deluded quotes……..he said quote
We have leaders in every position”
Players don’t seem to believe in him
In crucial games in a must-win clash the players didn’t seem bothered.

    He’s holding Arsenal back
