Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain registered another impressive performance in his new found right-wing-back position at The Emirates Cup.

The Englishman threatened particularly in the second half of Sunday’s Emirates Cup match with Sevilla, including setting up Alexandre Lacazette’s equaliser.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been the subject of summer interest, but on Sunday demonstrated just why Arsenal need to keep hold of him.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly targeting the winger and most recently Stoke have entered the chase.

The Ox began taking steps to fulfilling his potential after a fine season last term – particularly after Arsene Wenger adopted the 3-4-3 formation. The England international excelled at right-wing-back, keeping Hector Bellerin out of the side in the process.

With less than one year to run on his final contract, Ox could leave on a free next summer.

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise the winger for his impressive Emirates Cup display and plead he stays with the club.
