Reported Arsenal target Luis Enrique would favour a move to the Emirates over joining Chelsea this summer.

The Mirror claim the former Barcelona boss is on the shortlist to succeed Arsene Wenger this summer. However, Chelsea are also keen on seeing Enrique replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.

Should the Gunners choose to target the 47 year-old, they crucially have head of football relations Raul Sanllehi, who enjoyed a positive working relationship with Enrique from their days working together at the Nou Camp.

Enrique achieved huge success during his three years at the Catalan side – he led Barca to two La Liga titles and a Champions League triumph.

Arsenal have also been linked with bringing Patrick Vieira back to the Emirates, while Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim, Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers and Germany coach Joachim Loew are all other alternatives.

Arsenal fans, who is the right man to succeed Arsene Wenger? Let us know in the comments…

Rogers is fucking useless, I could have managed Liverpool with Suarez et al, they got pool within winning the title….and my sister could manage Celtic to another title

Vieira, are you fucking insane, great player done nothing as a coach to warrant managing AFC….after Wenger any decent manager would be welcome, one who knows a bit about fucking defending would be nice
